We recognize that systemic barriers exist and strive to operate our business in ways that promote equity and justice. This includes how we treat one another within our team, how we engage with clients and vendors, and how we support our local community.

Accountability for upholding this commitment rests with our Managing Partner, who ensures our policies and actions continue to reflect our values of equity, justice, and inclusion.

We continue to learn, listen, and improve to ensure that our policies and practices reflect our values of respect, accessibility, and inclusion across all that we do. These ideas are central to all that we do, and the intention behind our company mission statement:

We empower small business owners with the financial data they need to thrive, creating a community of empowered people that will effect change for social justice and environmental conservation.

Specific initiatives 

• We serve the social justice nonprofit organization, Queens Legacy Foundation, completely pro bono. Our work supports their grassroots efforts fighting for diversity, equity, and inclusion in Fort Collins, CO by managing their accounting and back-office admin free of charge. We’re proud to serve their mission: To change how vulnerable families leverage power through education, & self-advocacy.

• We volunteer for Common Wealth Charlotte’s VITA Latino program, providing free basic tax prep for the vulnerable Latinx community here in Charlotte, NC. 
• We are pursuing our B-corp certification in 2026.
